Anthony Anderson might get to work with TV legends like Laurence Fishburne and Tracee Ellis Ross every single day, but if it were up to him, one of the biggest stars in the world would be moving into the Johnson house.
The actor revealed his dream guest star when we caught up with him for our latest round of Against the Clock. It turns out, when it comes to choosing people to cameo on black-ish, Anderson is strictly A-List.
"Jennifer Lopez!" he told us when we asked him who he'd love to have on the series.
But if you're worried that Jenny from the Block would seem somewhat out-of-place in suburban California, fret no more. Anderson knows exactly how he'd like to write her into the show.
"My secret lover," he joked, when asked who Lopez would play.
Still, if ABC isn't keen on the idea of secret affairs and international superstars, Anderson's got another, much more plausible idea for a dream crossover: "Modern Family, of course."
Something tells us that Andre and Phil Dunphy would bond instantly over the trials and tribulations of attempting to raise their crazy, hilarious families. Besides, Phil needs plenty of help becoming the "cool dad" he's always wanted to be, and Andre would definitely be willing to offer a few tips.
As for Earl and Jay? Well, they'll just be happy to have finally met someone else who hates everything the way they do.
Black-ish airs Wednesdays at 9:30/8:30c on ABC.
