After years of flaunting her adorable street style and wowing us on red carpets, Witherspoon has finally decided to take pity on fans of her style with the release of her very own clothing line, Draper James. Finally, we’ll all be able to look picture-perfect, even if we’re just running to the grocery store.
On her site, Witherspoon explains that her grandparents influenced her decision to launch the line.
“I started this company to honor my Southern heritage and in particular my grandparents who were, and still are, the greatest influences in my life: my grandmother, Dorothea Draper and my grandfather, William James Witherspoon,” the Oscar-winner writes. “My grandparents taught me everything I know about gracious Southern living. From them I learned to dress and act like a lady, to take pride in my home, to reach out to help a neighbor, and to always invite everyone in for a visit.”
“But wait a minute,” we hear you thinking. “Don’t celebrities release clothing lines all the time? Why should I even bother paying attention to this one?” Did you even bother to see Legally Blonde? When it comes to fashion, we trust Elle Woods above just about anyone else.
